Above the transom

Above the transom

Above the transom

 Eyes above the transom

stood upon her chair,

looking out over the garden

where just last night, she is sure,

were pixies and fairies bright.

And over there elves counselled with Oberon.

*

Now pixies are buttercups, fairies daisies.

Where the elf king had sat, a dandelion.

Dandelion, dandy, LION!

startled, she hears a roar

she jumps down with a cry of alarm

“Mummy help! there is a lion outside the door.”

  11. Hello dear Zunner, sorry about your fungi problem, the problem with fungi are the spores and I believe they are a very serious health hazard-very serious, do getexpert advice there, I tried to comment on venom of despise, it reminded of a poor canary I once saw who had escaped but the british dowdy old sparrows sure didn’t like his bright yellow coat and chased him. :( take care, stay well and good wishes. :)
